The company would announce India bound Ford Ecosport price at the launching occasion which is expected to fall in the range of Rs. 10 lakh (for the base variant) to Rs. 13 lakh (for the top-end model) at ex-showroom Delhi. To offer it to Indian buyer as fuel economical SUV, first of all the company will launch only diesel engine model that may come loaded with a 1.5 diesel DV5 engine that currently does duty in popular global sedan Ford Fiesta.
So far, the number of Ford Ecosport variants have not been disclosed but expectations are the the company may offer the three to four variants for the diesel engine model. The expected Ford Ecosport features are Airbags, ABS with four-wheel, power windows, Great air Conditioning, Adjustable steering column, Impact bars in doors, Encoded ignition key (PATS) and so forth.
